Casey Reed went six innings, allowing just two earned runs on four hits but it wasn't enough as the Fisher Falcons fell to the Houston-Victoria Jaguars in the first game of a doubleheader on Saturday, March 17th.
Eridani Dume led off the game with a single for the Falcons and eventually advanced to third on two stolen bases. Falcons gained the 1-0 lead after a balk by UHV's Nathan Falkenstine.
The Jaguars would take the lead back in the bottom of the third on a two run inning fueled by a Chad Kruse double and a Ryan Suescun single.
Dume collected two of the three Fisher hits in the game. With the loss, Casey Reed fell to 0-3 on the season and the Falcons fell to 0-13 overall.
