Fisher loses 2-0

GAME ONE:  Eastern Nazarene College Lions 2 at Fisher College Falcons 0

Fans in attendance in game one were treated to a pitching duel as pitchers on both sides were the stars of the game as both starting pitchers went the distance for their respective clubs.  The Falcons' Raymundo Gomez was the tough luck losing pitcher allowed only two earned runs and struck out six in his 7.0 innings of work.  For the Lions it was starting pitcher Ben Petersen who out dueled Gomez and kept the Falcons offense on ice.  Throwing a complete game shutout only allowing four hits, striking out one and allowing only one walk in the effort.

GAME TWO:  Eastern Nazarene College Lions 5 at Fisher College Falcons 0

Once again both clubs' starting pitchers went the distance for their respective teams and just like game 1 ENC came out on top 5-0.  The Lions' SP Xavier Faria tossed a complete game shutout in his first start of the season.  He scattered four hits, striking out two and not allowing a walk.  The Falcons SP Yamil Delgado looked sharpe and got ahead of hitters early all game long.  The major blow came in the top of the third as some untimely plays defensively set up a 4 run inning for the Lions and ultimately the Falcons couldn't climb out of that hole.

The Falcons get back at it Wednesday up in Waterville, ME as Colby College plays host to the Falcons, first pitch scheduled for 4:00 PM.
