GWINNETT, GA. – The Association of Independent Institutions announced earlier today that William Carpenter (Brentwood, N.H.), has been chosen as the conference's pitcher of the week. This is the second consecutive week that Carpenter has been chosen as the AII's Pitcher of the Week.

Baseball Pitcher: William Carpenter, Freshman, LHP, Brentwood, N.H.

The reigning A.I.I. Pitcher of the Week, Carpenter, was outstanding in his only appearance for the Falcons this week. The left-hander received a no-decision in the team's 6-5 walk off win over Eastern Nazarene College on March 4th. Carpenter struck out 15 hitters over his eight innings of work, allowing just three runs (two earned) on six hits and issuing just one walk.

As mentioned before, this is the second consecutive week that Carpenter has been chosen. Last week, on March 1st, he earned his first career player of the week award after recording a 2.89 ERA over a combined 9.1 innings in two wins for the Falcons.
