GWINNETT, GA. – The Continental Athletic Conference announced this morning that Fisher College senior Christian Dow (Rochester, N.H.) has been selected as the CAC Pitcher of the Week. This is the second time this season that Dow has been awarded the honor, the first came after his brilliant performance in beating then-No. 1 Georgia Gwinnett on March 5.

The veteran right-hander was just as impressive in his only appearance this past week. Dow tossed a complete game, two-hit shutout of Northern Vermont University-Lyndon on Friday afternoon. The New Hampshire native struck out three and did not issue a walk as he threw just 81 pitches in the 2-0 victory.

Dow and the rest of the Falcons will be in action this afternoon as they are out in Pittsburgh, Pa. for a double-header with Point Park University, who was receiving votes for the NAIA Top 25 Coaches Poll. Game one of the twin-bill starts at 12pm.
