GWINNETT, GA. – The Continental Athletic Conference announced their weekly awards this afternoon and a pair of Falcons were honored. Junior Ivanuel Hernandez (Caguas, Puerto Rico) and senior Ronald Luke (Malden, Mass.) were both chosen as the conference's Baseball Hitter and Pitcher of the Week, respectively.

Ivanuel Hernandez – CAC Baseball Hitter of the Week

This is the third time that Hernandez was selected in 2023. The catcher/designated hitter had a monster week in leading the Falcons to five wins in six games. He batted .714 with 15 hits while smashing five home runs and did not strikeout in his 23 plate appearances. The left-handed hitter also recorded multiple hit games in all six contests and notched eight extra base hits. Hernandez highlight of the week came in the 28-1 win over the University of Maine-Farmington, where he belted three home runs.

Ronald Luke – CAC Baseball Pitcher of the Week

Luke is honored for the first time this season. The left-hander was dominate in his only appearance this week. He limited Bryant & Stratton College – Albany to just four hits over seven shutout innings for a complete game victory. Luke also recorded seven strikeouts as the team won 6-0 over the Bobcats. This win was also significant as it gave Head Coach Scott Dulin his 600th career victory as a head coach.

Fisher is now 24-18 on the season and will finish off the regular season with a six-game road trip. The first stop is on Wednesday afternoon at Northern Vermont University – Lyndon for a double-header before traveling down to North Carolina for a four-game set with #5 Georgia Gwinnet College. This series is being played at a neutral site and is hosted by Campbellsville University in Buies Creek, North Carolina.
