LAWRENCEVILLE, GA. – The Continental Athletic Conference announced earlier this morning that Fisher College junior Yadiel Cuadrado has been selected as the conference's Pitcher of the Week.

Cuadrado, a 2023 CAC All-Conference First Team selection, had an incredible week for the Falcons as he limited the opposition to a 0.75 earned run average (ERA) over his 12 innings of work. The Yabucoa, Puerto Rico native was handed a tough loss in a 2-1 contest at Voorhees University (South Carolina), recording nine strikeouts over six innings. He then had the best performance of his career this past Saturday in a relief role, tossing six hitless innings and striking out six batters against Indiana Tech. Cuardardo's performance helped Fisher rally from a 6-0 deficit to win 7-6 in 12 innings.

This is the first time this season that a member of the Fisher College Baseball team was tabbed as a CAC weekly honor recipient. The Falcons will return to action this weekend as they host Vermont State University Lyndon in a four-game series at Fraser Field. First pitch is scheduled for 12pm on both Saturday and Sunday.
