LAWRENCEVILLE, GA. – The Continental Athletic Conference announced earlier this morning that Fisher College junior William De Gracia has been selected as the conference's Pitcher of the Week.

De Gracia had an impressive week for the Falcons as he held his opponents to a 1.35 ERA over 6.2 innings of work. The Canovanas, Puerto Rico native picked up the win in the Falcons' 3-2 walk-off victory against the University of Maine-Farmington. The left-hander pitched 5.2 innings, allowing just one run on two hits and striking out seven. The left-handed also struck out two in his inning of work against the University of Maine-Presque Isle in Friday's 9-0 victory.

This is the third consecutive week that a member of the Fisher College Baseball program has earned CAC Pitcher of the Week honors. De Gracia follows fellow left-hander Yadiel Cuadrado (Week 6) and freshman Joziel Carmona (Week 7). The Falcons will travel south for their next four-game series as they take on Webber International (Fla.) on Thursday and Friday afternoons.
