Tyler Shular Earns A.I.I. Player of the Week Honors

Kansas City, MO -- Both Central Christian's Heather Crittenden and Fisher's Tyler Shular put up gaudy numbers last week for their respective programs, and on Monday, each took home A.I.I. Athlete of the Week honors.

Crittenden, a sophomore out of El Paso, Texas, was key to a 1-1 week for CCC, averaging 24 points, 7.5 rebounds and five blocks over two games. Crittenden is the second CCC women's athlete to take home weekly honors this school year, and the fifth Tiger overall.

Shular led Fisher to three victories last week, averaging 24 points, 6.7 boards and 4.3 assists as the Falcons picked up wins over Maine-Machias, St. Joseph's and Wheaton. Shular is the third Falcon athlete to earn the weekly accolades this year, joining soccer players Tyler Gahara and Julia Schojan.
