Wilson, Falcons Tripped Up by Vaughn College

Flushing, NY – The Fisher College Falcons shot a season-high 68.2% from the field but it was not enough as they fell to Vaughn College 80-76 in non-conference action  Tuesday night in Flushing, New York.

Malik Wilson had a team-high 28 points on 11-of-13 shooting while collected 11 rebounds in a double-double effort.  Tyler Shular (12 points) and Kyle Holmes (10 points) also notched double-digit nights for the Falcons.

Fisher held a 40-38 halftime lead but was outscored 42-36 in the second half in route to the loss.  Eight different Falcons score on the night, including nine points from big man Rashid Mahboub.

The Falcons return to action Saturday January 23rd when they host the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts at 2:00PM.
