Men's Basketball: Falcons top Pine Manor, 78-54

BOSTON, MASS. – The Fisher College Men's Basketball team rebounded from a tough loss their last time out to rout Pine Manor College, 78-54 in a non-conference contest hosted by the Gators. The win propels the Falcons to an overall record of 16-11 while Pine Manor falters to 4-20 on the year.

Senior Jhalen Lumpkins (Sacramento, Calif.) led the Falcons as he connected on 10-of-14 shots from the field for 23 points. Classmate Paul Oha Jr. (Anitoch, Calif.) added 12 points and fellow senior Kyle Williams (Fairfield, Calif.) chipped in with nine points on the night. Senior Chris Sorapuru (Temecula, Calif.) shined off the bench as he finished with six points and six rebounds over his 15 minutes of action.

Pine Manor saw junior Sayvoon Houston (Brockton, Mass.) register the game-highs of 24 points and 15 rebounds. Stephon Auguste added seven points in a reserve effort and both freshman Jalen Williams (Tariffville, Conn.) and Ja'Marcus Bell contributed with six points each in the loss.

Fisher will enjoy ten days off before hosting Bryant and Stratton College-Albany on Saturday, February 22 inside The Windsor School. Pine Manor will wrap up their 2019-20 campaign on Saturday afternoon as they host SUNY-Delhi in a 3pm contest.
