Men's Basketball: Falcons earn 77-72 OT win in tune-up for the tournament

BOSTON, MASS. – The Fisher College Men's Basketball team wrapped up their 2019-2020 regular season this afternoon with a hard-fought 77-72 overtime win against visiting Bryant & Stratton College-Albany inside the Windsor School Gymnasium. The win rounds out the Falcons overall record at 17-11 while the Bobcats dip below .500 at 14-15 on the season.

Senior Jhalen Lumpkins (Sacramento, Calif.) finished the contest with a team-high 18 points as he was one of four Falcons to reach double-digits in scoring on the night. Junior Kyle Williams (Fairfield, Calif.) added 16 points and junior Jason Augliera (Discovery Bay, Calif.) chipped in with 10 points, including two huge three-point baskets. Senior Paul Oah Jr. (Antioch, Calif.) was a powerhouse for Fisher as he registered the games only double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds and a thunderous block.

Bryant & Stratton-Albany was guided by the efforts from junior Jamil Hood (Albany, N.Y.), who led the game with 24 points and scooped up seven rebounds. Sophomore Kobbie Perez (Toronto, Ont., Canada) recorded eight steals and finished with 17 points on the night while classmate Reggie Perez (Toronto, Ont., Canada) chipped in with an 11-point effort. Freshman Sebastian Vidal-Casanova (Miami, Fla.) also hit double-figures as he contributed 10 points in a reserve effort for the Bobcats.

Fisher will head off to the 2020 Association of Independent Institutions Basketball Tournament this week as they are set to return to the court on Friday, February 28th against the College of the Ozarks. Game time is set for 9:15pm.
