Lincoln, Ill. – The Fisher College Men's Basketball season came to an end this afternoon as the Falcons fell to the College of the Ozarks, 90-76 in the 2020 Association of Independent Institutions Championship Tournament quarterfinals. The tournament is being held at Lincoln College and the Falcons wrap up their 2019-20 campaign with an overall record of 17-12.

This was the first time in three seasons that the Fisher Men's Basketball program reached the A.I.I. Championship Tournament. In total, they have now made four trips to the six-team tournament that eventually decides the conference representative in the NAIA National Tournament.

Senior Jhalen Lumpkins (Sacramento, Calif.) paced the Fisher offensive attack as he led the team with 25 points on 10-of-21 shooting from the floor. Classmate Chris Sorapuru (Temecula, Calif.) recorded a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds off the bench while junior Kyle Williams (Fairfield, Calif.) chipped in with 10 points scored in the loss.

The Bobcats were guided by the efforts of Brandt Cochran, who led all scorers with 34 points, including drilling eight three-point attempts. Ayden Stone also recorded a double-double on the afternoon as he finished with 16 points and a game-high 21 rebounds. Treydon Rackley and Andrew Mitchell rounded out the double-digit scorers as they finished with 15 and 13 points, respectively.

Along with Lumpkins and Sorapuru, the Falcons would also like to recognize the 2020 senior class who participated in their final contest for the Blue and Grey. Starters Anthony Lewis (Lodi, Calif.), Ville Milan (Turku, Finland), Paul Oha Jr. (Antioch, Calif.) all wrapped up their brilliant careers as did reserves Abrian Dickson (Indian Wells, Ariz.), Nicolas Gonzalez (Madrid, Spain), Dante Marshall (Oxon Hill, Md.), Victor Casildo (Bronx, N.Y.), and Malik Seldon (Los Angeles, Calif.).
