Men's Basketball: Finney's triple-double seals OT win over Atlantis

BROOKLINE, MASS. – A triple-double from junior Joel Finney (Los Angeles, Calif.) helped propel the Fisher College Men's Basketball team to a thrilling 110-106 overtime victory this evening against Atlantis University. The Falcons are now 11-4 overall on the season while Atlantis evens out their record at 8-8.

Joel Finney finished with 24 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists for the impressive triple-double. Junior Ke'Andre Penceal (Coram, N.Y.) led the Falcons with 36 points while senior Christian Finney (Los Angeles, Calif.) totaled 14 points. Sophomore Jad Reda (San Antonio, Texas) came off the bench and knocked down five 3-point attempts to finish with 15 points and senior Brian Rios (El Paso, Texas) notched a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds in the win.

Atlantis' Mike Evans recorded the game-high of 42 points as he was 13-for-28 from the floor and 11-of-14 from the line. Nikko Landon corralled 11 rebounds and added 27 points for his own double-double while Keifer Chow contributed 12 points in defeat.

Fisher will return to action on Sunday morning as they host Bryant & Stratton College – Buffalo with an 11am start time. Atlantis remains in the Boston area as they will also take on BSC-Buffalo tomorrow afternoon at 3pm in a neutral site affair here at the Pappas Gymnasium.
