Men's Basketball: Joel Finney tabbed CAC Player of the Week

GWINNETT, GA. – The Continental Athletic Conference announced earlier today that Fisher College junior Joel Finney (Los Angeles, Calif.) has been chosen as the CAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week.

Finney was outstanding in leading the Falcons to a pair of close wins over Atlantis University (Fla.) and Bryant & Stratton College – Buffalo (N.Y.) last week. The 6-foot-1 guard had the program's first triple-double performance in the thrilling 110-106 overtime win against Atlantis on Friday night. Finney finished with 24 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists

He followed that performance two days later with a 23 point, 4 rebound, 5 steal afternoon – including connecting on the final two free throws in the 91-89 triumph over BSC-Buffalo on yesterday morning.

This is the second time this season and second consecutive week that a member of the Men's Basketball program has been selected for this honor. Freshman Jalen Anderson (Charlottesville, Va.) was selected last week.
