Men's Basketball: Anderson selected as CAC Player of the Week

GWINNETT, GA. – The Continental Athletic Conference announced earlier today that Fisher College freshman Jalen Anderson (Charlottesville, Va.) has been chosen as the CAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week.

Anderson was brilliant as he helped the Falcons to a 2-1 week, with a CAC victory over Penn State – Schuylkill. The rookie averaged 15.3 points and 5.7 rebounds across the three-game week. He scored 25 points and grabbed seven rebounds in the 104-80 conference triumph over PSU-Schuylkill last Monday evening.

He followed that performance with an 11-point, four-rebound effort in the 94-91 overtime loss on Tuesday before closing out the week with a 10-point, six-rebound outing in Saturday's 98-65 win over Five Towns College.

This is the first time this season that a member of the Men's Basketball program has been selected as the conference's player of the week. The last Falcon to earn those honors was current junior Ke'Andre Penceal (Coram, N.Y.) who was tabbed on February 13, 2023.
