Men's Basketball: Falcons drop OT affair to BSC-Rochester

BROOKLINE, MASS. – The Fisher College Men's Basketball team erased a nearly 20 point deficit in the second half to force overtime, however it was for not as the Falcons fell 111-106 in overtime this afternoon to the visiting Bryant & Stratton College Rochester Bobcats. Fisher is now 12-6 on the season while BSC-Rochester improves to 3-9 overall this year.

Senior Dakota Gillespie (El Paso, Texas) led the way offensively for the Falcons as he finished with 22 points. Four other members of the squad finished in double-figures with senior Dakota Gillespie (El Paso, Texas) totaling 22 points. Junior Ke'Andre Penceal (Coram, N.Y.) had 19 points on the afternoon while sophomore Jad Reda (San Antonio, Texas) and junior Joel Finney (Los Angeles, Calif.) finished with 16 and 10 points, respectively. Penceal led the team with eight rebounds and eight assists.

BSC-Rochester received a huge performance from senior Marcus Zappia (Rochester, N.Y.). The 5-9 guard was 16-for-31 as he complied the game-high 44 points. Sophomore Jawlan Brown (Atlanta, Ga.) recorded the game's only double-double with 26 points and 16 rebounds.

Fisher will return to action later this week as they travel to Waterville, Maine for a 7pm contest at Thomas College. BSC-Rochester will be in action on February 1st as they travel to BSC-Buffalo for a 7pm affair.
