WATERVILLE, MAINE – The Fisher College Men's Basketball team snapped a three-game losing skid this evening with a 99-78 win over Thomas College. The Falcons are now 13-7 overall on the season while the Terriers dip to 8-14.

Five different members of the Fisher program reached double-figures in the win, led by junior Joel Finney (Los Angeles, Calif.) 21-point effort. Seniors Brian Rios (El Paso, Texas) and Dakota Gillespie (El Paso, Texas) netted double-doubles with Rios totaling 19 points and 11 rebounds to Gillespie's 14-point, 10-rebound outing. Junior Ke'Andre Penceal (Coram, N.Y.) finished with 18 points and rounding out the double-digit efforts was sophomore Jad Red (San Antonio, Texas), who came off the bench for 15 points.

Thomas saw junior Parker Desjardins (Jackman, Maine) record a game-high 27 points off the bench. The 5-10 guard was 11-for-20 from the field, including drilling 5-of-10 from beyond the arc. Also finishing in double-figures were freshman Troy Tinch (Baltimore, Md.) and junior Gianni Ungaro (Hudson, N.H.), who totaled 12 and 11 points, respectively.

Fisher will be back inside the Pappas Gymnasium on Saturday night as they host Washington Adventist University. The Continental Athletic Conference contest is slated for an 8:30pm tip following the conclusion of the 6:30pm women's game. Thomas, meanwhile, will host the University of Maine-Farmington on Tuesday evening in a conference clash between in-state foes.
