BUFFALO, N.Y. – Fisher College's Men's Basketball team fought hard but fell short against Bryant & Stratton College - Rochester in a thrilling matchup, 102-98. With the loss, the Falcons' record stands at 0-2, while the Bobcats start their season with a 1-0 record.
Senior Ke'Andre Penceal (Coram, N.Y.) had a standout performance, leading the Falcons with 35 points and grabbing 17 rebounds earning his first double-double of the season. Junior Amari Jamison (Boston, Mass.) contributed significantly, adding 22 points to the scoreboard. Sophomore Tyrek Simmons (Boston, Mass.) also had a solid outing, pulling down 10 rebounds.
For Bryant & Stratton, junior Shaden Knight (Fontana, Calif.) paced the team with 32 points, while junior Kecian Primes (Madera, Calif.) dominated the boards with 12 rebounds. Junior Jihad Watson (Philadelphia, Pa.) added 23 points and 6 rebounds in the Bobcats' victory.
The Falcons will next face Bryant & Stratton College (Buffalo) on January 3 at 4 p.m., while Bryant & Stratton (Rochester) will host Penn State Shenango at 2 p.m. on the same day.
