WESTON, MASS. – The Fisher College Men's Basketball team struggled to keep pace with Regis College, falling 96-82 in their fourth consecutive loss of the season. With the defeat, Fisher's record drops to 0-4, while Regis moves to 2-0.
The Falcons were offensively led by Junior Ezekiel Edwards (Ettrick, Va.) scoring 17 points during his time of play. Sophomore Tyrek Simmons (Boston, Mass.) was active on the boards, pulling down 7 rebounds, while senior Laddis Taylor (Edgewater Park, N.J.) added 16 points to the effort.
For Regis, senior Russell Rau (Westminster, Mass.) was the standout performer, scoring 29 points. Junior Jamir Harvey (Robbins, Ill.) contributed a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Junior Gehrig Brynda (Deerfield, Mass.) also chipped in with 17 points.
Fisher will return to action tomorrow facing Curry College in the Autism Acceptance Classic at Regis, while Regis will host Bowdoin College the same day.
