Men's Basketball: Falcons prevail in home opener over Carlow

BROOKLINE, MASS. – The Fisher College Men's Basketball team secured a 92-79 victory over Carlow University, improving their record to 2-4 on the season, while the Celtics drop to 1-4.

Senior Ke'Andre Penceal (Coram, N.Y.) was the standout for the Falcons, leading the team with 23 points in the win. Junior Anthony Douglas Jr. (East Hartford, Conn.) also had a strong performance, contributing 14 points and pulling down 6 rebounds. Senior Laddis Taylor (Edgewater Park, N.J.) added 18 points to the effort, providing an important scoring boost for Fisher.

For Carlow, junior Byron Gaskins (Woodbridge, Va.) matched Penceal's 23 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. Sophomore Clayton Cook (Brookville, Pa.) was the top rebounder for the Celtics, collecting 7 boards. Senior Nehemiah Brazil (Pittsburgh, Pa.) chipped in with 17 points, but it wasn't enough to keep Carlow in the game.

The Falcons will return to action on Tuesday, December 3rd, when they host Rivier University at 7 p.m. at home. Carlow will travel to Dean College for a matchup on November 24th, with a 12 p.m. tip-off.
