UMFK Dominates Falcons 8-0

Medford, Mass. – The Fisher College men's soccer team drops to .500 (5-5) on the season after dropping an NAIA-USCAA cross match-up to the University of Maine at Fort Kent (UMFK) by the score of 8-0.  UMFK improves to 13-0 on the season with their victory.

 

Ben Kluvers led the Bengals office with three goals, leading the scoring for the visiting team.  Five different UMFK players scored the other goals for the 8-0 victory.

 

The Bengals had a 6-0 lead heading into halftime, but Guerson Saintil held the Bengals to 2 goals in the second half making three saves in his 61 minutes of play.  Eliseu DiPena took the loss in net for the Falcons allowing the 6 first-half goals and making one save. 

 

The Falcons will look to bounce back and step above .500 when they play host to Berkeley College of New Jersey on Saturday, October 8.  The match is set to be played at Hormel Stadium in Medford, Mass. at 3:00 p.m.
