
Medford, Mass. -- Fisher College drops to 7-8 on the season after dropping an NAIA non-conference match against SUNY Delhi 1-0.
The first half was a goalie dual with neither team being able to put a score on the board. The Falcons outshot the Broncos in the first half 7-to-6 with each goalie making 3 saves in the half.
Delhi came out of the half-time break with an explosion and overpowered the Falcons during the half. The Broncos scored the lone goal of the game in the 51st minute to take a 1-0 lead over the Falcons. The visitors outshot the Falcons 11-10 in the second half including 1 goal and 6 shots on goal.
Eliseu DiPena took the loss in net making 8 saves and allowing only 1 goal. Ryan Hennessy took the victory for Delhi with a shutout victory making 10 saves.
The Falcons will have a few days rest before heading back to Hormel Stadium in Medford, Mass. to host Emerson College on Wednesday, October 26 at 6:00 p.m.
