Men's Soccer Falls To Penn State-Harrisburg, 1-0

Middletown, PA- The men's soccer team faced a tough challenge this afternoon as they took on Penn State-Harrisburg, a team that is currently ranked 39th in the country and has only one loss this season.  The Falcons (1-6-2) did all they could to hang with the Nittany Lions (14-1-1), but they could not get a W this afternoon on the road, losing 1-0.

Sophomore keeper Christopher Garcia (Rowland Heights, CA) again continued his impressive play in net as he has only allowed two goals in the past three games, but Fisher came up short offensively. The Falcons defense led by Andrew Leveillee (Coventry, RI) and David Serrano (Val Verde, CA) also continued to play well and held off numerous scoring opportunities in the first half for the Lions.  The only goal scored in the game came off the head of Sophomore Max Turner (Paupack, PA) in the 40th minute from a great feed from Sokeil Ahmedshaker (Brooklyn, NY).  In the second half Fisher was able to get off four shots in the last 20 minutes, including two headers and one on goal by Rolando Pinero (Cape Coral, FL) but were turned away by keeper Hunter Cooper (North Canton, OH).

The Falcons continue their road trip as they take on Washington Adventist tomorrow at 1pm.
