Men's Soccer: Falcons fall on the road at UMF

FARMINGTON, MAINE - The Fisher College Men's Soccer team lost the contest against the University of Maine-Farmington this afternoon, 3-0 at Leib Field. The loss sends the Falcons to 2-10-1. Washington Adventist University will slide to 5-4-2.

The offensive effort for the Falcon's was led by junior Moshe Mesika (Miramar, Fla.) and freshman Alejandro Caballero (Gijon, Spain) with 1 shot attempt each. Fisher's defense was paced by senior Rafael Fabra (Sao Paulo, Brazil) with 8 saves in his 90 minutes of play.

University of Maine-Farmington's offense was set by senior Yusuf Mohamed (Lewiston, Maine) who had the first goal at the 18 minute mark. The second goal was by freshman Ieuan Howell (Mount Desert, Maine) and following him was sophomore Zach Chaisson (Scarborough, Maine) with the third goal for the Beavers.

Both teams will be back in action when they return to the field this week. Fisher will be playing against Dean College on Sunday with a 1pm start. The University of Maine-Farmington will be traveling to Maine Maritime on Saturday at noon.
