Men's Soccer: Falcons drop CAC contest at WAU

TAKOMA PARK, MD. - The Fisher College Men's Soccer team lost the contest against Washington Adventist University this afternoon, 4-0. The loss sends the Falcons to 2-9-1. Washington Adventist University will slide to 3-5-2.

The offensive effort for the Falcon's was led by sophomore Drake Hampton (Queen Creek, Ariz.) having 3 shot attempts and junior Juan Pablo Villalobos (El Paso, TX) with 2 shot attempts. Fisher's defense was paced by senior Rafael Fabra (Sao Paulo, Brazil) with 6 saves in his 90 minutes of play.

Washington Adventists offense was set by senior Sesay Alhaji Bai with the first goal in the 16th minute. The second goal was made by junior Aguer Dau in the 26th minute. The Shock's game ended with 2 goals in the 74th and 89th minute by senior Mario Zelaya (Washington, D.C.). The defensive effort for WA was paced by senior goalkeeper Shawn McGuire (Orlando, FL) with 4 saves in his 90 minutes of play.

Both teams will be back in action when they return to the field this week. Fisher will be playing against the University of Maine-Farmington on Wednesday with a 4pm start. Washington Adventist will be hosting Salem University on Thursday at 7pm.
