Men's Soccer: Falcons edged at home by Lasell

MEDFORD, MASS. -  The Fisher College Men's Soccer team dropped a contest this evening to Lasell University, 3-1 at Hormel Stadium. The loss sends the Falcons to 0-2. Lasell will slide to 1-1 as their overall record.

The defensive effort for the Falcon's was led by senior goalkeeper Rafael Fabra (Sao Paulo, Brazil) with 9 saves in his 90 minutes of play. On the offensive end, Fisher's only goal of the game was made in the 58th minute by sophomore Drake Hampton (Queen Creek, Ariz.) unassisted.

Lasell's offense was led by sophomore Daniel Faynstein (Needham, Mass.) with 2 goals, both unassisted, in the win for the Lasers. The third goal was made by junior Jaydon Perez (Amherst, Mass.) in the 85th minute of the game, also unassisted.

Both teams will be back in action when they return to the field on Saturday. Fisher will be traveling to Fort Kent, Maine to face the Bengals with a 1pm start time. Lasell will be hosting Anna Maria also with a 1pm start.
