Men's Soccer: Garcia, Falcons fall at home to WAU

MEDFORD, MASS. - The Fisher College Men's Soccer team dropped a CAC contest against Washington Adventist University this afternoon, 4-1. The loss sends the Falcons to 2-12-2. Washington Adventist University will slide to 4-7-2.

The offensive effort for the Falcon's was led by junior Javier Garcia (Bayamon, Puerto Rico) having the team's only goal of the game unassisted in the 78th minute of the game. Fisher's defense was paced by senior Rafael Fabra (Sao Paulo, Brazil) with 4 saves in his 90 minutes of play.

Washington Adventists offense was set by junior Aguer Dau having the team's first goal in the 2nd minute of the game. Following him was freshman Joaquin Juarez with the 2nd goal of the game. To close out the win, senior Inmer Nick Bonilla (Gaithersburg, MD) had Shock's final 2 goals. The defensive effort for WA was paced by senior goalkeepers Shawn McGuire (Orlando, FL) and Chris Cribas (La Lima, Cortez) with 2 saves a piece.

Both teams will be back in action when they return to the field this week. Fisher will be playing at Plymouth State University on Thursday with a 3pm start time. Washington Adventist will be hosting their Senior Day against Regent University on Tuesday at 3pm.
