Men's Soccer: Falcons shutout by Plymouth State

PLYMOUTH, N.H. - The Fisher College Men's Soccer team drops a contest to Plymouth State University this afternoon, 5-0 at Arold Field. The tie sends the Falcons to 2-13-2. Plymouth State will slide to 7-7-3.

The offensive effort for the Falcon's was led by sophomore Drake Hampton (Queen Creek, Ariz.) with 5 shot attempts. Following him was junior Juan Pablo Villalobos (El Paso, TX) having 3 shot attempts. Fisher's defense was paced by senior Rafael Fabra (Sao Paulo, Brazil) with 9 saves in his 90 minutes of play.

Plymouth State's offense was led by junior Faisal Abdallah (Concord, NH) having 4 of the team's 5 goals, two of which were in the first half and two in the second. The fifth goal was made by sophomore August Westerholm (Stockholm, Sweden) in the 57th minute. Freshman Lucas Hollingworth (Akersberga, Sweden) chipped in with 2 assists. The defensive effort was led by junior goalkeeper Nicolas Cornejo (Durham, NH) with 8 saves in his 90 minutes of play.

Next up for this week, Fisher will be completing their season with a final game at Bryant & Stratton-Albany on Sunday at noon. Plymouth State will end their season 7-7-3 being 1-5-2 in conference play.
