Men's Soccer: Martins' goal leads Falcons to draw

MEDFORD, MASS. - The Fisher College Men's Soccer team tied Bryant & Stratton-Albany this afternoon, 1-1 at Hormel Stadium. The tie sends the Falcons to 2-13-3, 0-1 in conference play, for an overall record as their season comes to an end. Bryant & Stratton-Albany ends their season 4-9-2 and 0-2 in conference play.

The offensive effort for the Falcon's was led by freshman Mattues Martins (Medway, Mass.) having the teams only goal in the 64th minute. The goal was assisted by junior Juan Pablos Villalobos (El Paso, TX). Fisher's defense was paced by senior Rafael Fabra (Sao Paulo, Brazil) with 11 saves in his 90 minutes of play.

The tying goal for the Bobcats came late in the game in the 71st minute of the game by freshman Rhaysmel Feliz and was assisted by senior Junior Gomez Depina (Dorchester, Mass.). The defensive effort for Bryant & Stratton-Albany was led by Jared O'Connor with 7 saves in his 90 minutes of play as the goalkeeper.
