GWINNETT, GA. – The Continental Athletic Conference announced earlier today that Fisher College freshman Leonardo Di Biase (Empoli, Italy) has been selected as the CAC Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week.

Di Biase finished up his rookie campaign in style. The Italian forward scored two first half goals to lead his team to a 2-0 win over the University of Maine-Fort Kent and complete the home-and-home series sweep of the Bengals. One of his two goals came on a perfectly placed free kick from about 30 yards away from the opposing net. Di Biase ended the season with a team-high 12 goals.

This is the first time this season that Di Biase was named the conference's offensive player of the week. He joins junior keeper Eduardo Navarro (Tucson, Ariz.) as the only two members of the 12-3-3 Falcons to have received weekly honors from the conference.
