M Volleyball: Falcons stumble at Emerson

BOSTON, MASS. - The Fisher College Men's Volleyball team dropped a contest this evening to Emerson College, 3-0 inside the Plofker Gymnasium with scores of 25-19, 25-6, and 25-7. The loss sends the Falcons to 0-9 for an overall record. Emerson rises to 4-8.

Senior Rafael Fabra (Soa Paulo, Brazil) paced the offensive attack for the Falcons with 4 kills and sophomore Ethan Marshall (Melbourne, Australia) followed with 3 kills. Freshman Carlos Diaz (Guaynabo, Puerto Rico) dished out 7 assists and scooped up 6 digs. Sophomore Eduardo Navarro (Tucson, Ariz.) added 2 assists, 4 digs, and a solo block in the loss.

Emerson's offensive effort was led by junior Neiko Pittman (Santa Clarita, Calif.) with 10 kills while sophomore Jack Miessner (Phoenix, Ariz.) followed with 6 kills. Pittman also collected 4 service ace points and grabbed 4 digs. Sophomore Bryson Beck (Fresno, Calif.) chipped in with 2 kills, 24 assists, 8 service ace points, and 4 digs in the win for the Lions.

Fisher will not be back in action until they return to the court March 18th to play a tri-match at Dean College. They will play Dean college and North park starting at 1pm. Emerson will travel to Emmanuel on Thursday at 7pm.
