Falcons drop last game in Florida to Judson

Titusville, Fla.- The Falcons softball team closed out their spring trip with a loss to Judson University by a score of 8-0.  Fisher College returns to Boston with an 0-10 record, but gained a lot of experience on their trip.

The Eagles scored early in the game putting four runs up on the board before the Falcons had their turn at the plate.  Victoria Park started things off for the Falcons with a slap single to right field.  Morgan Selmi grounded into a fielder's choice with Park getting out at second.  Selmi was stranded on first.

Fisher was able to get a 1-2-3 defensive inning in the second, but couldn't get the bats to work in the bottom half of the inning.  Judson tacked on three more in third and one more in the fourth to put them up 8-0 over the Falcons forcing the game to end at the end of the fifth inning.

Mikayla Zimmerman took the loss on the mound for the Falcons, not before picking up two timely strikeouts.

The Falcons will return to action back in Boston on March 18, when they take on Boston Common foe Emmerson College.  The double-header will be played at Rotch Playground starting at 3:00 p.m.
