LYNN, MASS. – Backed by a 22-point night from senior Vivian Lara (Norwalk, Calif.), the Fisher College Women's Basketball team earned their sixth consecutive win this evening as they defeated visiting Pine Manor College, 64-50 in a non-conference contest held inside the Fecteau-Leary Gymnasium. The win catapults the Falcons to 14-11 overall on the season while the Gators fall to 5-10.

Lara shot 6-of-15 from the field, including connecting on five three-point attempts, to pace the offensive effort. Fellow senior Jenny-Lynn Eggers (Sonoma, Calif.) added a double-double night as she finished with 11 points and 14 rebounds. Also chipping in with a double-digit scoring night was sophomore Shaniah Hazard (Providence, R.I.), who collected 10 points in the win.

Pine Manor junior Kierra Jackson (Pikesville, Md.) registered the game-high with 20 points on a 7-for-11 night from the field and led the team with eight rebounds. Classmate Nandi Eskrige (Pacifica, Calif.) netted 10 points and freshman Mandy Mastropasqua (Portland, Maine) finished with six points.

It will be a quick turnaround for the Falcons as they return to the court tomorrow afternoon at 12:30pm as they host Pratt Institute of Technology at the Windsor School. Pine Manor will travel to Wentworth Institute of Technology on Tuesday night in their next scheduled contest.
