Women's Basketball: Eggers' double-double powers Falcons past Pratt, 48-25

BOSTON, MASS. – The Fisher College Women's Basketball team extends their winning to seven games this afternoon as they easily defeat visiting Pratt Institute, 48-23 in a non-conference contest held inside The Windsor School gymnasium. The win moves the Falcons to 15-11 overall on the season with two games left to play while the Cannoneers slide to 7-11 overall on the year.

Senior Jenny-Lynn Eggers (Sonoma, Calif.) registered another double-double as she finished with a game-high 18 points and 12 rebounds. It was Eggers' 5th double-double of the season. Freshman Madison Kelley (Moosup, Conn.) added 10 points off the bench and sophomore Lauren Allen (Long Beach, Calif.) chipped in with eight points in the win.

Pratt was led by freshman Beverlee Caraway (Pryor, Okla.), who ended her afternoon with nine points while senior Emily Guerra (Babylon, N.Y.) pumped in seven points in the contest. Junior Sophie Bischoff (Durham, N.C.) shot 3-for-8 from the floor to finish with six points in the loss.

Fisher will round out the three-game Senior Weekend set tomorrow afternoon as they host the University of Maine-Fort Kent. Game time is slated for 12pm with Senior Day festivities beginning prior to tip. Pratt will host Vaughn College on Tuesday night in their next scheduled matchup.
