Women's Basketball: Eggers named A.I.I. Player of the Week

GWINNETT, GA. – The Association of Independent Institutions announced earlier today that Fisher College senior Jenny-Lynn Eggers (Sonoma, Calif.) has been selected as the A.I.I. Women's Basketball Player of the Week.

Eggers earns the honor after leading the Falcons to a 3-1 week. The veteran forward registered a double-double for the week as she averaged 15 points and 11 rebounds per game. In the team's win over Pine Manor College. Eggers scored 11 points and collected 14 rebounds while coming back strong the following night with 18 points and 11 rebounds in the Falcons 48-25 win over Pratt Institute. She wrapped up her impressive weekend with 16 points and seven rebounds in the 57-55 loss to the University of Maine-Fort Kent.

This is the second time this season that Eggers has been honored by the conference as she garnered A.I.I. Player of the Week honors back on December 2, 2019.

The Falcons will wrap up regular season play this week with games at Wellesley College (Wed. 2/12) and Colby-Sawyer College (Sat. 2/15) in preparation for the upcoming A.I.I. Tournament in Lincoln, Illinois.
