Women's Basketball: Falcons wrap up regular season at Colby-Sawyer

NEW LONDON, N.H. – The Fisher College Women's Basketball team ended their 2019-2020 regular season this afternoon with a 64-46 setback to Colby-Sawyer College in a non-conference contest held inside the David L. Coffin Field House. The loss finalizes the Falcons regular season record at 16-13 while the Chargers improve to 16-7 on the year.

Sophomore Shaniah Hazard (Providence, R.I.) led the way offensively for Fisher as she finished with 14 points and eight rebounds. Senior Jenny-Lynn Eggers (Sonoma, Calif.) chipped in with eight points on the afternoon along with Misha O'Neal (Tampa, Fla.), who collected five rebounds to go along with her own eight points scored. Junior Jennifer Rosales (Morgan Hill, Calif.) and freshman Madison Kelly (Moosup, Conn.) each chipped in seven points while senior Angel Bernardi (Cloverdale, Calif.) added two points in the loss.

Colby-Sawyer was paced the double-double effort from Lexie Hamilton, who finished with the game highs of 17 points and 10 rebounds. Joslin Wainwright also reached double-figures in the contest with 14 points on 7-of-12 shooting from the floor. Tiana Sugars shined bright as she finished with eight points and nine rebounds for the Chargers.

Fisher will head west for their next contest in the 2020 Association of Independent Institutions Tournament hosted by Lincoln Christian College in Lincoln, Illinois. The tournament pairings will be announced early next week by the A.I.I.
