GWINNETT, GA. – The Association of Independent Institutions announced earlier today that Fisher College junior Misha O'Neal (Tampa, Fla.) was named the A.I.I. Women's Basketball Player of the Week.

O'Neal was stellar all weekend for the Falcons as she averaged 34 minutes per game over the season-opening two game set at Babson College. In Saturday's opener, O'Neal came off the bench to lead the team with 15 points on 7-of-14 shooting from the floor. She also contributed defensively with a rebound and four steals. O'Neal followed that performance on Sunday afternoon as a starter, going for a team-high 12 points while collecting five rebounds and five steals.

O'Neal and the Falcons will travel up to Johnson, Vermont on Sunday afternoon in their next scheduled contest. Game time is set for 3pm at Northern Vermont University-Johnson. Live stats and video can be found at www.FisherFalcons.com.
