GWINNETT, GA. – The Association of Independent Institutions announced this afternoon that Fisher College junior Misha O'Neal (Tampa, Fla.) was selected as the A.I.I. Women's Basketball Player of the Week. This is the second time in four weeks that O'Neal has been honored by the conference.

O'Neal was electric in the team's 60-47 win on the road at Northern Vermont University-Johnson. The 5-7 guard shot 10-for-27 from the floor, including 5-of-11 from beyond the arc, on her way to the game-high of 27 points. O'Neal also collected eight rebounds and recorded eight steals in the team's first victory of the season.

The Fisher Women's Basketball team will return to action tomorrow night with a 7pm tipoff at Albertus Magnus College in New Haven, Connecticut as they prepare for the A.I.I. Conference Tournament this upcoming weekend in Arkansas.
