QUINCY, MASS. – The Fisher College Women's Basketball team returned to action this evening as they fell on the road to Eastern Nazarene College, 70-45. It was the team's first game since last Friday's Association of Independent Institutions semifinal game and the Falcons are now 2-5 on the year while the Lions improve to 2-0.

Junior Misha O'Neal (Tampa, Fla.) led all scorers as she finished with 27 points off the bench for Fisher. O'Neal shot 8-for-23 from the floor and added 9-of-10 from the free throw line while also recording two blocked shots. Senior Jennifer Rosales (Morgan Hill, Calif.) added five points as did junior Shaniah Hazard (Providence, R.I.) in the loss.

Eastern Nazarene was led by the double-double effort from junior Stevie Orton (Gilford, N.H.). Orton collected 12 rebounds and ended her night with 13 points. Senior Janeth Cruz (Reseda, Calif.) led the Lions with 14 points scored and junior Janelle Jiron (Granada Hills, Calif.) pulled down nine rebounds in a reserve effort.

Both teams will be back in action tomorrow afternoon as the two-game set between Fisher and Eastern Nazarene concludes. Tip-off is scheduled for 1pm.
