Women's Basketball: Falcons soar past Becker College, 70-37

LECIESTER, MASS. – The Fisher College Women's Basketball team picked up another win this afternoon as they defeated Becker College, 70-37 in non-conference action. The win lifts the Falcons to a 4-5 overall record while the Hawks stumble to 0-4.

Junior Misha O'Neal (Tampa, Fla.) helped Fisher jump out to a 19-5 opening quarter as she finished with the game-high of 22 points. O'Neal shot 7-for-11 from the field and collected four rebounds. Junior Alexia Mason (Inglewood, Calif.) registered her second consecutive double-double as she poured in 17 points on 7-of-10 shooting while pulling down 10 rebounds. Freshman Alisia Becerra (Wasco, Calif.) recorded her first collegiate points as she chipped in seven points off the bench for the Falcons.

Becker saw both senior Jazlyn Contreras (Westport, Mass.) and sophomore Cymiah Patterson (Bronx, N.Y.) each record the team-high of eight points and junior Julitza Delgado (Southbridge, Mass.) added six points in the loss.

Fisher will be back in action on Monday evening as they travel to Albertus Magnus College for a 6pm tip-off. Becker will travel to Eastern Nazarene College on Friday, March 19th in their next scheduled contest.
