Women's Basketball: Three Falcons tabbed to the A.I.I. All-Conference team

GWINNETT, GA. – The Association of Independent Institutions announced this afternoon that three members of the Fisher College Women's Basketball team were selected to the A.I.I. Women's Basketball All-Conference team. In total, seventeen student-athletes from across five different institutions were named the 2020-21 team after their strong individual performances on the court this season.

Juniors Shaniah Hazard (Providence, R.I.), Alexia Mason (Inglewood, Calif.) and Misha O'Neal (Tampa, Fla.) were all selected to the All-Conference team as the trio guided the Falcons to an overall record of 5-6 and an appearance at the 2021 A.I.I. Basketball tournament semifinals.

Hazard appeared and started all 11 games for Fisher this spring as she averaged 28.8 minutes per game to go along with her 8.5 point per game. She totaled 94 points with a 37.3 field goal percentage (38-102) while collecting 91 rebounds and handing out 24 assists.

Mason was a double-double machine for the Falcons as she led the team with four double-doubles on the season. The transfer from El Camino College played in all 11 contests, making 10 starts and totaling 30.1 minutes per game. She registered the team high with 101 rebounds (9.1 rebound per game) and recorded 108 points (9.8 points per game). Mason was also excellent from the floor as she connected on 45-of-81 shots for a 55.6 field goal percentage.

O'Neal was the offensive star on the court as she paced the scoring attack all season long. She averaged a team-high 17.7 points per game over her 11 games played. O'Neal scored a total of 195 points and shot 38.1% from the floor (72-for-189) with 20 assists and 50 total rebounds.
