Women’s Basketball: Natalie Wilson named Head Women’s Basketball Coach

BOSTON, MASS. – The Fisher College Department of Athletics is pleased to announce that former Falcon assistant, Natalie Wilson has been named the Head Coach for Women's Basketball. Wilson inherits a program that has made three consecutive appearances in the conference tournament and is poised to return again this season.

"I am very excited to be back in Boston with the Falcons" Wilson said. "I am looking forward to maintaining the winning culture and continuing to grow the program with the goal of winning a National Championship."

Wilson returns to Beacon Street, where she was an assistant coach during the 2016-17 season. She also served as an assistant coach at Rivier University and Saint Anselm College. Most recently, Wilson was the Head Girls Basketball Coach at Trinity High School (N.H.), her Alma matter, and before that was the Head Varsity Girls Basketball Coach at The Derryfield School for two seasons. She also served as a Varsity Assistant and Freshman Girls Head Coach at Trinity, where she guided the young team to a perfect 21-0 record and helped the varsity program reach the state championship in 2016.

"Coach Wilson brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to this talented program". Scott Dulin, Fisher College Athletic Director remarked on the hiring. "I fully believe with her leading the charge, the Women's Basketball program will continue their march towards a conference and eventual national championship."

She is a 2013 graduate of Nichols College, where she played all four years on the women's basketball team. Wilson appeared in 97 games for the Bison, averaging 8.6 points and 6.0 rebounds per game. In High School, she was a three year starter and four year letter winner for Coach Pat Smith and was a New Hampshire Division I State Finalist in her junior season (2007-08).

Practices for the Women's Basketball program will start up in a few weeks with a full 30-game schedule set for the 2021-22 season.
