NEW LONDON, CONN. – The Fisher College Women's Basketball team scored a season-high 32 points in the second quarter, however it was not enough as the Falcons fell to the Coast Guard Academy, 107-74 this evening. The loss sends Fisher to a 2-3 overall record while the Bears improve to 3-2 on the season.

Senior Misha O'Neal (Tampa, Fla.) and junior Tatiana Bruno (Ridgefield Park, N.J.) led the team and game with 23 points on the night. Senior Alexia Mason (Inglewood, Calif.) finished one point shy of a double as she pulled down 11 rebounds and added nine points. Classmate Naomi Mares (Pueblo, Colo.) also contributed with 14 points in the setback.

CGA was buoyed by the double-double reserve effort from freshman Kelly Hagerty (Emerald Isle, N.C.), who finished the night with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Sophomore Kira Wood (Seattle, Wash.) scored the team-high of 19 points and senior Kyra Hartman (Shillington, Pa.) ended her evening with 17 points.
