Women's Basketball: Falcons fall at Trinity College

HARTFORD, CONN. – The Fisher College Women's Basketball team fell on the road this evening as they suffered a 74-58 setback at Trinity College. The loss sends the Falcons to a 3-7 overall record while the Bantams improve to 5-2 on the season.

Senior Misha O'Neal (Tampa, Fla.) led the way for Fisher as she scored a game-high 20 points, connecting on 6-of-14 shots from the floor. Classmate Alexia Mason (Inglewood, Calif.) added 15 points with the team-high six rebounds and fellow senior Naomi Mares (Pueblo, Colo.) chipped in with nine points.

For Trinity, they saw four student-athletes reach double-figures in scoring led by junior Samantha Gallo's (Northford, Conn.) 17 point effort. Classmate Bria Fuller (Springdale, Md.) netted 16 points and a game-high eight rebounds while both freshman Indianna Delrocco (Branford, Conn.) and sophomore Tori Varsamis (Belmont, Mass.) came off the bench to provide 14 and 10 points, respectively.

Fisher will return to Boston for their next scheduled contest as they travel up Beacon Hill for a Friday night game at Suffolk University. Game time is set for 7pm. The Bantams, meanwhile, will stay at home as they welcome Union College on Friday afternoon at 5pm.
