Women's Basketball: Falcons fall at Suffolk

BOSTON, MASS. – The Fisher College Women's Basketball team traveled up Beacon Hill this evening as they dropped a regular season contest at Suffolk University, 76-43. The loss sends the Falcons to a 3-9 overall record while the Rams improve to 7-3 on the season.

Junior Tatiana Bruno (Ridgefield Park, N.J.) paced the Fisher offensive attack as she netted the game-high of 17 points. Senior Alexia Mason (Inglewood, Calif.) collected the game-high of 11 rebounds while adding eight points and classmate Shaniah Hazard (Providence, R.I.) chipped in with seven points in the setback.

Suffolk saw graduate student-athlete Jenni-Rose DiCecco (Falmouth, Mass.) become the program's all-time career point leader as she matched Bruno for the game-high of 17 points. Senior Allie Lopes (Scituate, Mass.) also notched double-figures in scoring with 12 points and graduate student-athlete Gabriella DeComo (Portsmouth, R.I.) finished with nine points. Sophomore Amanda DeAngelis (Londonderry, N.H.) totaled eight points and eight rebounds in the win for the Rams.

Fisher will return to action tomorrow afternoon as they travel to Providence, Rhode Island for a matchup at NCAA Division I opponent, Brown University. Game time is slated for 2pm and live video is available on ESPN+. This was Suffolk's final game of the semester, they will return to action in 2022 with a conference game against Nichols College on January 4th.
