BROOKLINE, MASS. – The Fisher College Women's Basketball team wrapped up the first semester portion of their schedule this evening with an 86-16 loss to visiting Anna Maria College inside the Pappas Gymnasium. The Falcons (0-4) have dropped the first four games of the season while the AMCATS climb above the .500 mark with a 5-4 overall record.
Senior Olivia Hamel (Estes Park, Colo.) led the way for the Falcons as she finished with nine points and 18 rebounds. Fellow seniors Mayouri Yath (Amherst, Mass.) and Kayla Dorn (Hampton, Ill.) added four and two points, respectively. Senior Melissa Fajardo (West Jordan, Utah) recorded her first career point with a made free throw late in the fourth quarter.
Anna Maria was paced by the efforts from senior Marinique Reddin (Tampa, Fla.), who recorded the game high of 23 points on 10-of-13 shooting from the floor. Reddin also dished out seven assists and collected five rebounds. Senior Madison Paulhus (Charlton, Mass.) chipped in with 12 points and sophomore Sharayah Scott-Cummins (Worcester, Mass.) provided nine points off the bench.
Fisher will return to action in the new year as they will travel to Lasell University on January 8, 2025. Anna Maria travels to the sunshine state for their next scheduled contest – a December 20th matchup with Wisconsin-Whitewater in Daytona Beach.
