TAKOMA PARK, MD. – The Fisher College Women's Soccer team climbed back to .500 this evening with a 3-0 victory over Continental Athletic Conference foe Washington Adventist University in Maryland. The win sends the Falcons to 6-6-1 overall while the Shock stumble to 2-6-0.

Senior Naomi Vivas (Mexico City, Mexico) gave Fisher an early lead as she netted her fourth goal of the season in the 5th minute. Classmate Kassie Lima (Boston, Mass) would extend the lead to 2-0 in the 8th minute with her first goal of the year and freshman Jillian Megit (Springfield, Mass.) notched her first collegiate goal in the 68th minute to account for all of the offensive power for the Falcons.

Sophomore Olivia Leo (Dunmore, Pa.) recorded her third clean sheet victory of the season as she stopped all six shots she faced on net. WAU's Serenity Turnbull made 12 saves on 15 shots in the loss for the Shock.

Fisher will return to Boston as they prepare for their next contest on Thursday evening at Eastern Nazarene College. Game time is slated for 8pm at Veterans Memorial Stadium in Quincy.
