GWINNETT, GA. – The Continental Athletic Conference announced earlier this morning that Fisher College sophomore Oliva Leo (Dunmore, Pa.) was selected as the conference's Defensive Player of the Week for Women's Soccer.

Leo is handed the award after backstopping the Falcons to a 1-1 week, including the clean sheet victory in yesterday's thrilling 1-0 win over the University of Maine-Presque Isle. The second year goalkeeper made 14 saves in total over her 180 minutes played and came up clutch with some terrific diving saves on shots inside the 18-yard box.

This is the first time in her career that she has been named the CAC Defensive Player of the Week and follows senior Naomi Vivas (Mexico City, Mexico) as the honorees for the CAC Players of the Week this season.

Leo and the Falcons return to action on Wednesday afternoon as they travel to the University of Maine-Farmington for a 3:30pm contest.
