BOSTON, MA. – This afternoon the Falcons opened their season with a tough loss against Emmanuel College. The Falcons begin their season off with a record of 0-1-0 while the Saints improve to 2-0-0.
Fisher's defense was paced by senior Olivia Leo (Dunmore, Pa.) with 12 saves in her 90 minutes of play.
The Saints' offensive effort was led by Junior Sarah Dullaghan (Belmont, Mass.) as she scored 2 goals in the victory. Sophomore Maddie McCulloch (Old Lyme, Conn.), Freshman Reese Cromwell (Lago Vista, Texas), Junior Liz McCormick (Cumberland, R.I.), Junior Loliana Morales (Braintree, Mass.), Junior Annabel Balogh de Galantha (Lebanon, N.H.), Junior Eva Simmons (Charlestown, R.I.), Junior Alexandre Gencarelli (Bradford, R.I.), and graduate student Hailey Goodman (Blackstone, Mass.) chipped in a goal each.
The Falcons will return to action on Saturday afternoon as they travel to Maine to face University of Maine Fort Kent with a 5 pm kickoff. The Saint's will battle Colby-Sawyer College at their home field on Saturday at noon.
