FORT KENT, ME. – The Fisher College Women's Soccer team suffered a tough 5 - 0 loss against the University of Maine Fort Kent. Fisher now stands at 0-2-0 while the Bengals rise to a 3-1-0 record.

Senior Olivia Leo (Dunmore, Pa.) led the Falcons defensively with 6 saves in her 77 minutes of play. Offensively, senior Kayla Dorn (Hampton Ill.) took the reins getting off two shots.

UMFK offensive attack started in the late minutes of the first half with senior Petagay Dixon (Kingston, Jamaica), assisted by Senior Nancy Martin (Fort Kent, Me.), scoring in the 36th minute. Martin would go on to score two more goals herself in the 46th and 48th minute both assisted by freshman Rosaria Talbot. Freshman's Hannah Lovey (Fort Kent, Me.) and Shaniah Johnson (St. George, Grenada) both chipped in a goal a piece in the victory.

Fisher will be back in action tomorrow afternoon as they travel to University of Maine - Presque Isle for a 2pm kickoff. The Bengals will also be playing tomorrow as they host Maine Maritime Academy for a 1pm kickoff.
